DHUSAMAREB (HOL) – Galmudug state president Ahmed Qoorqoor has presented a list of four individuals to serve in the state indirect elections committee to the Office of the Prime Minister.
According to a decree from his office, Qoorqoor appointed Yahye Osman Gedi, Nahd Abdullahi Mohamud and Haawo Adanyare Ulusow to serve in the interim state-level elections committee.
Ayan Abdirahman Mohamud has been appointed to serve the dispute and conflict resolution committee according to the decree.
The appointments are in line with requests for replacements from the Office of the Prime Minister following the May 27 Agreement which sought to weed out contested names.
Virtually all Federal member State leaders have submitted their lists to the Prime Minister. This is a step in preparation for the upcoming parliamentary and presidential elections slated for August this year.
